DOUBLE DATA is a Psion Series 3a Data-programm 

Double Data can show up to 32 fields per page, in a one ore two collum
mode. In line view mode, up to 19 records can be shown.

Additional you are able to create calculated fields and a total sum
over selected fields.

Language can be selected between german or english (Help-files are included).




INSTALL DOUBLE DATA ON YOUR SERIES 3A:

1. Copy DDATA.OPA in any /APP directory
2. Create a subdirectory called /DDATA in this APP/ directory
3. Copy DDATA.DDD, DDATAENG.RSC(engl. Helpfile) or DDATAGER.RSC(german helpfile)
   in the /APP/DDATA directory
4. Install DDATA.OPA with PSION-I
 



HISTORY:

Version 1.0:
The inbuild DATA-Application is not able to show more than 13 fields per page
and a lineview is missing. For databases with more than 30 fields I had to scroll up and down
so the overview was lost. For this reason I programmed DOUBLE DATA. Also a line view was
implemented(in Ver. 1.0 only for the first 8 fields). Some times I needed to calculate
time differences or prices or a total sum over some searched fields, so DOUBLE DATA is able
to do so.


Version 1.1:
A few bugs about the actual position in the database after searching are corrected.
Memory consuming when editing is minimized.
In Line view now you can scroll left and right, and all fields will be shown.

Version 1.2:
Exporting found records, all records or an empty database (only with labels)
Copy Record: to duplicate a record, if you only have to do a few corrections for a new entry.
Compress file

Version 1.3:
Now you are able to search for dates(or time)  before ore after a given date
Search & Replace: You can search in one field and replace in another one 

Version 1.4:
Sorting big databases in OPL is very slow. An extern Sort-programm (APP) can be linked
to Double Data.
English and german menus and dialogs are in an editable *.DDD file.

Version 2.0:
Deleting of all found records. Stamp at new or edit a record (time, date, text, counter).
Save as: now you are able to add found records to an existing database.

Version 2.1:
Save as: <, > searching; active record can be added to an existing file
Stamp: 	Now three fields can be used for stamp; "copy of record" added;
	 if counter is used, actual counter is saved in an ini-file
Search & Replace: choice between replace all and replace only searchstring

Version 2.2:
Save as: deleting of exported records added
No error at sorting small files with extern sorting-programm (delay: file open/close) 
DDATA.OPA file size reduced

Version 2.3:
Few bugs at "Delete found records" eliminated
Table view: now number of collums can be choosen from 1 to 10


 
IMPORTANT:
If you are using other DATA-Programs than the inbuild DATA-Applikation, it is possible that
DOUBLE DATA crashes with some *.DBF files at startup. To solve the problem, open the *.DBF file
with DATA(inbuild), edit one label, save it with TAB and try again to load it with Double Data.

Although the program has been tested extensively, the author can not be 
made responsible for any damage that could result from it's usage.
Make backup copies from your important data!
